Daytona Bike Week 2023

Y'all...the last few weeks have been wild! From February's, Back Brevard's Heroes to Daytona Bike Week, we have had several events the last couple months. It was hot and exhausting but I am just so full and super stoked for the next one!

Back Brevard's Heroes was a really fun local charity event designed to bring the community out to support Brevard County, Florida's first responders, LEOs and military. They invited a bunch of us local businesses and craftsmen out and arranged a seriously killer car show with tons of raffles and prizes that made for an awesome day out in Merritt Island last month. The community really showed up for this and it was one of our most successful local events to date. Thank you to all who came out to support us and to those who help keep us safe out here in Brevard County.

Daytona Bike Week. What can be said. It's a week in the sun and sand...but with motorcycles! As vendors, we don't generally get out much during the event, but many of y'all came to us and what a blessing you were!

We were so graciously hosted by Orlando Harley-Davidson (one of the best Harley dealerships around. If you're in the market for a new ride, go see them! ) both weekends during Bike Week. We weren't quite sure what to expect as it was our first time setting up during Bike Week and we weren't going to be actually in Daytona, but it was incredible! We met so many interesting people and had some amazing conversations that really blessed us and changed our perspectives in more ways than one.

One really notable interaction I had was with a police officer who was on duty in the area but stopped by our booth several times as he made his rounds. He had a really amazing life story and although parts of it confirmed some sad truths about that line of work, his life and the integrity by which he lives and conducts his job despite how it has negatively affected him was truly inspiring. There are still good people out there who wear the badge and my faith was restored that even if evil laws pass, there are good men (and women) who will stand with we the people and refuse to enforce those unjust laws. I had nothing but respect for this man and what he's endured for the sake of others. Praying God continues to protect him and all of the good men and women out there serving their fellow men with honor, love and integrity.

We met so many really special people that week with awesome stories it would be impossible to recount them all here. It's more of an in-person type conversation, maybe over a great cup of coffee?

Speaking of which, it's about time for cup #3! Who else drinks coffee after 5 PM? Do you brew some decaf and chill or just send it! Drop a "😌" in the comments if you're Team Decaf, or a "⚡️" if you're the full send, caffeine-ain't-no-thing type!

Thanks for hanging with me for a few minutes. Hope to catch ya at our next show or hear from you in the comments! Until then, ☕️🖤.

Definitely a decaf after 5. Otherwise I’ll be up till 5! 😌 Midnight Oil has been our new go-to decaf and it’s delicious! Was never able to find a good decaf.. 🫤always settled for maxwell house or folgers.. but let me say, y’all nailed it!! We subscribed! 👍🏻👏🏼
